About Me

Hello there! My name is Cat (she/her) and I’m from New Jersey. I’m a seamstress of 20 years, specializing in costumes and have a theater background from quick changes to full on design. Growing up, I never had fandom clothing that I could wear without being bullied. It was almost taboo for girls to embrace gaming or cartoons, forcing myself to hide my love of Disney, Star Wars, and Video Games out of self-preservation. But after discovering cosplay, I learned that the opinions of others did not matter and celebrating your fandoms was not to be made fun of. It was part of who you are.

After being involved with the Cosplay Community for 20 years, I have started to discover my passion for fashion design work. The idea of combining high fashion with geek culture opens a whole new set of possibilities of where creativity can go. And because of this, it has allowed for all people to be fashionable with high-end looks that are inspired by the fandoms that help shape our lives. Just because you have to look professional, doesn't mean you should give up celebrating who you are and what you love.
