Why Encanto?

Just like the rest of the world, I fell in love with the Disney film Encanto. The music, the story, the animation: everything was just stunning to look at. While in my mindset of coming back from a Disney World vacation, I thought about designing ready to wear, more modern looks for the women of the Madrigal family. Something that I had really started to love and do was create "Disneybound" looks. Developing character wear for a day in the parks was good practice in starting to get better at my drawing and to get those extra Disney vibes on paper.

The overarching goal was to create lightweight, ready to wear looks that use elements of their gifts, while still keeping them modern and perfect for a day at a Disney Park.
