Loki
from Agent of Asgard
Why Loki?
As Asgardia's one-man secret service, Loki serves the All-Mother, tending to some of the most treacherous missions. This younger incarnation of Loki from the comics is still, to this day, one of my favorite designs for him. It's sleek, modern, and still practical for battle, which is a feature I always appreciate.
Also. It's Loki. I adore Loki as a character so much just because there is so much depth and detail to him as a character. And the fact that I too, am the younger sibling, I feel I can relate.

How It Was Made
I custom dyed a mid weight twill fabric to get that rich green color. The trim is all custom made from a soft gold faux leather, which played with a lot of texture and depth to the look. The brown leather is an Italian lamb skin leather that I wanted to use purely because the leather added a really beautiful detail to the look as a whole.
The shirt was a linen look that was also dyed to be the correct shade of green.
I learned how to make scalemail for this costume. Hand-weaving the individual scales together to create is intricate and over the top chestplate. This took roughly about 40+ hours to complete, but was totally worth it.
